The rebellious brother of the Negroni. Swapped gin for OGAL mezcal. More character, more depth, more Mexico.

Ingredients
  • 45 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 30 ml Campari
  • 30 ml red Vermouth
  • 1 orange slice · Block ice
Method
  • Stir in a mixing glass with ice for 30 seconds.
  • Serve over large ice. Squeeze the orange slice.
Tip OGAL: Block ice melts slowly. The mezcal deserves it.
OGALoma — OGAL con toronja y Tajín

The mezcal Paloma. The bitterness of grapefruit and the smokiness of OGAL create something refreshing and unmistakably Mexican.

Ingredients
  • 50 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 120 ml fresh grapefruit juice
  • 15 ml lime juice · 10 ml agave syrup
  • Tajín rim · Ice · Highball glass
Method
  • Rim the glass with Tajín and salt.
  • Add ice, OGAL, grapefruit, lime and syrup. Stir gently.
Tip OGAL: Fresh grapefruit juice is mandatory — bottled lacks the necessary bitterness.
OGAL Margarita — Espadín y sal de gusano

OGAL Margarita
OGAL · Lime · Triple Sec · Sal de gusano

The classic Margarita dressed up. Espadín replaces tequila and transforms a timeless classic.

Ingredients
  • 50 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 25 ml Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 25 ml fresh lime · 10 ml agave syrup
  • Sal de gusano · Ice · Lime garnish
Method
  • Rim the glass with sal de gusano.
  • Shake everything with ice for 15 seconds. Serve cold.
Tip OGAL: Try with passion fruit liqueur instead of Triple Sec — it surprises.
OGAL Old Fashioned — mezcal con bitters y agave

OGAL Old Fashioned
OGAL · Agave syrup · Angostura · Orange

The Old Fashioned emigrated to Mexico and now speaks Spanish. Mezcal brings a complexity bourbon can never match.

Ingredients
  • 60 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 10 ml natural agave syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura · 1 dash Mole bitters (optional)
  • Orange peel · Block ice
Method
  • In a rocks glass, stir syrup and bitters over block ice.
  • Pour OGAL. Stir 20 seconds. Twist the orange peel.
Tip OGAL: Mole bitters are the secret to making it taste completely Mexican.
El Diablo — cóctel OGAL Mezcal con frambuesa y ginger beer

El Diablo
OGAL · Raspberry · Ginger Beer · Lime

Red as the fire of the stone oven. Sweet as the Oaxacan earth. The boldest side of OGAL in a glass.

Ingredients
  • 50 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 20 ml raspberry liqueur (Chambord or similar)
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • Ginger beer to top · Fresh raspberries
  • Ice · Highball glass
Method
  • Fill the glass with ice. Add OGAL and raspberry liqueur.
  • Squeeze the lime. Top with ginger beer. Stir gently.
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries on a skewer.
Tip OGAL: The smokiness of the mezcal contrasts perfectly with the sweetness of the raspberry — use fresh, not frozen raspberries.
Mezcal Mule — OGAL con ginger beer en taza de cobre

Mezcal Mule

The Moscow Mule fell in love with Oaxaca. The spice of ginger and the smokiness of mezcal are the best marriage copper has ever contained.

Ingredients
  • 50 ml OGAL Espadín
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • 5 ml agave syrup (optional)
  • 150 ml well-chilled ginger beer
  • Crushed ice · Fresh mint · Lime slice · Copper mug
Method
  • Fill the copper mug with crushed ice.
  • Add OGAL and lime juice. Stir gently.
  • Top with ginger beer. Garnish with mint and lime.
Tip OGAL: The copper mug keeps the drink cold longer. If you do not have one, a highball glass works just as well.

A 90-point mezcal deserves its purest expression. Room temperature, in a clay cup (jícara) or wide glass. No ice. No lime. Just the mezcal, you and the silence.
